Aside from browsing, job searching, and downloading movie torrents. I was fascinated with "Baking" and this is my "Try something New" per se for 2018. The baking tools in the house is sufficient enough for me to start. 

My second project is Ensaymada. its a classic butter and sugar bread all the way through. Not much of a success here, I think I am still learning how my oven works. The Heating element control is somewhat independent. UP and DOWN. There is no way to use both. 

Home and Dry

Unemployed for 2 weeks now.  I'm a plain houseband again. I want to try something new.

And this just came up. Introducing my very own "Mini-spanish bread."  Thanks to youtube. The video is straightforward, short and snappy. I don't have the exact ingredients though. Lol.

For the Filling:

2/3 cup all-purpose flour (i used cake flour)

1/4 bread crumbs

1/3 cup butter (used fat spread 40%)

2/3 cup sugar (used mixed brown and white)

3tbsp all purpose cream (used dessert cooking cream)

2tbsp water (used tap)

For the Dough:

4 cups all purpose flour (self raising/wheat flour)

2tsp instant yeast (make it 3)

1 tsp salt (iodated)

2/3 cup light brown sugar (mixed white)

1 1/2 cup full cream milk (homogenized)

4tbsp canola oil (sunflower oil)

Set oven to 230 ∆∆∆ check until golden brown.

Then reduce to 175 ∆∆  about 15-20 minutes.

Makes 20 pieces.

Sunday experiment. Ham and Cheese Roll (Kariman Recipe)
In the mix:
(Bread crumbs and Chips/fries seasoning.
2 eggs and (1/4 cup milk)
Ham and Chicken loaf
Strawberry Jam and processed Cheese

Devastated

2k17,  riley's little devastator. This is a third party transformer toy (from china) Looks good and the plastic was quite impressive. Not the original version but this will do for now. lol.

Huawei

Android's latest model. Nonetheless its Riley. I was thinking of putting Huawei on this edit. But then i came across HTC brand logo and the android eating apple parody. It turned out something like this. Which is more hilarious and of course, brilliant.
